Original handmade Tibetan-style woven rope bag charms and phone charms as gifts
The Story Behind the Pendant
The pendant is inspired by a touching story from Tibetan Buddhism. Legend has it that a bird brought a seed, which a rabbit saw and dug a hole to bury. Soon, a seedling sprouted. A monkey playing in the forest saw this and, to protect the seedling, surrounded it with branches and pulled away the surrounding weeds. An elephant, seeing this, watered the seedling every day with its trunk. Under the careful care of the four animals, the seedling grew into a large tree, laden with fruit.
Because the tree was too tall, no one could reach the fruit. So the elephant let the nimble monkey climb onto its back, the monkey let the rabbit stand on its shoulders, and the rabbit lifted the bird. Finally, the bird used its sharp beak to pick the fruit one by one. Everyone under the tree could eat the fruit.
The four animals also worked together to share the fruit with all their friends in the forest.
Philosophical Meaning
Through sowing good intentions, wise division of labor, mutual assistance, and generous sharing, the four animals not only created prosperity for the forest but also demonstrated the most beautiful possibilities of human nature. When strength and wisdom, humility and respect meet, the world will grow a peace that transcends strife.
